Algos, the destroyer that outgrows the Scout site

C Single-source / unverified Algos alpha legal

The upgrade from the Tristan. A destroyer enters Small plexes, which pay twice what a Scout site pays, and it carries enough tank to survive being caught. Same doctrine as the frigate. Drone damage first, then tank, and nothing in a slot that does not serve one of the two.

Bought on camera at Jita. Fully alpha legal. The warp disruptor is what makes it a hybrid rather than a pure farm fit, it is farming insurance that also lets you hold a fight. Without rigs it flies on day one for around 1.86 million.

Drops the point for a second shield extender, which buys 4,199 EHP for zero damage loss, and drops the propulsion module, which costs 1.33 seconds of align time. Built for running Moderate plexes with three of them, where the site spawns four cruiser rats and spreading aggro across three hulls IS the tank. 147.3 drone DPS and 17,325 EHP each.

Drones

Carry both sets. Valkyrie and Warrior are explosive, for the armour tanked Gallente hulls you shoot as Caldari militia. The five Acolytes are EM, for shield tanked targets, where the ranking completely inverts. The bay holds 60 cubic metres, which is the armour set at 35 and the EM set at 25, exactly.

Skills

Gallente Destroyer and the drone line. Gallente Destroyer DOES boost Algos drone damage, unlike the Tristan. Shield tanking the Gallente hull is deliberate, it puts the tank in the mid slots and frees all three lows for drone damage amplifiers, so you get maximum damage and maximum tank at the same time.

Getting the fit into the game

Copy the block above. In EVE, open the fitting window on a ship, click the menu at the top left of the fitting panel and choose Import from clipboard. The fit appears in your saved fittings. In Pyfa it is the import button on the fittings pane, or Ctrl+V into the fitting list.
