Wormhole Space

Wormhole space (J-space) is thousands of unmapped systems reachable only through wormholes that open and collapse continuously. There are no stargates, no asset safety, and the local chat list shows nobody — you cannot see who is in the system with you. Sites are guarded by Sleepers, whose loot sells to NPC buy orders at fixed prices (blue loot). Class C1 (easiest) through C6.

C1 Class 1 20 class 1 page →

The shallow end, and the only class with no wormhole static at all: every C1 hangs off known space and nothing else. Frigate and cruiser Sleeper rosters, and the holes are mass-limited enough that battleships often cannot follow you in, which is as much a defence as it is a restriction.

C2 Class 2 20 class 2 page →

The one class that always has both: every C2 holds a static to known space AND a static to another wormhole. That is exactly why C2s are the classic first home in J-space - a way out for logistics, and a chain to hunt down.

Where most solo and small-gang pilots settle: rosters a well-fit cruiser or battlecruiser can clear, and every C3 has a static to known space - usually lowsec. No wormhole static, so the chain past you is whatever wanders in.

C4 Class 4 22 class 4 page →

The quiet class. C4s connect to other wormholes and almost never to known space, so nothing casually stumbles through - safer to live in, and slower to move anything in or out of.

Capital escalation territory, and the deep chain begins here: C5s connect onward to wormholes, hardly ever to known space. Sites are run with capitals by groups that know the trigger rules, and the Drifter response fleet is a real mechanic, not a curiosity.

The deep end - the richest Sleeper sites in the game, run by organised groups. Like C5 it faces inward, almost never onto known space; everything true of C5 is more so.

Shattered systems

Shattered wormholes have no planets to anchor a structure on and no moons to mine, but they carry site types that spawn nowhere else, and Core-tier gas and ore can turn up in them regardless of the system's class.

Drifter systems (C14–C18)

Five named hive systems, one per Drifter faction, plus the capital-escalation mechanics that reach into C5 and C6. Not scannable content: you go there deliberately.
