Down the Chain

Privacy

Short version: there is no account, nothing here asks who you are, and nothing you type into the search or finder boxes leaves your browser.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. There is no sign-up, no login, no newsletter, no comment form and no contact form. We do not ask for your name, your email address or your character name, and there is nowhere on this site to give them to us.

The search box and the Finder run entirely in your browser against files the site already sent you. What you type is never sent anywhere.

Third parties a page talks to

This is a static site, but some pages load things from other people's servers. Those servers will see your IP address, as any server does when your browser asks it for a file.

None of those requests carry an identifier from us, because we do not create one.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics. We do not know how many people visit, which pages they read, or where they came from.

If that ever changes, because advertising is one of the few ways a free reference site pays for itself, this page will say so before it happens and you will be asked first.

Your rights

UK GDPR gives you rights over personal data held about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to access, correct or delete. If you think that is wrong, write to info@ironcommand.co and we will look into it.
