Limited Sleeper Cache
The entry sleeper cache: a gated deadspace data site with actual hazards — damaging explosions on failed hacks, timed triggers, hazardous clouds and sentries. Significantly harder than pirate data sites and it will kill careless ships. Counter-intuitively these spawn only in known space, never in J-space. Player consensus: 100% completable in a cheap T1 exploration frigate with new-player skills (support=4, most recent 2024) — the hazards are gas clouds and can explosions, not combat. Frigate-restricted by design per the launch dev blog; no post since contradicts it.

What players report (community corpus, support-counted)
- Layout: manoeuvre around gas clouds and plasma containers to the Storage Depot cans; one depot sits inside a damage cloud — hack the Remote Pressure Control Unit to switch the cloud off for 2-3 minutes.
- Failing the Remote Defense Grid Unit hack on the second depot can detonate the can — 'moderate damage', a paper-frigate killer, not a cruiser threat.
- Cans can be deliberately detonated (~3k alpha reported) — a rival explorer can weaponise this with no CONCORD response; treat company in-site as hostile.
- Entry fuse (2015 report, unverified since): a failed entry hack gives ~2 minutes to re-hack before it explodes.
- Loot reality check: reports range ~10-40M ISK — better than a relic site, not a jackpot; the tier exists to teach the mechanics for Standard/Superior.
