How it works
- Mining frigates and the Pioneer fit Gas Cloud Scoops, one per turret hardpoint, and the Gas Cloud Harvesting skill allows one scoop per level.
- The Venture and Prospect double scoop yield (role bonus) and get 5% faster cycles per level of Mining Frigate. The Endurance is an ice ship: one hardpoint and no gas bonus.
- The Pioneer (mining destroyer) gets 25% faster gas cycles as a role bonus, 5% more per level of its skill, three hardpoints and a bigger hold than the Venture.
- Mining barges and exhumers fit Gas Cloud Harvesters instead, the big version only they can use, two per ship. The Covetor and Hulk get the biggest cycle bonus.
- The Odysseus fits five scoops with 5% faster cycles per level, but only has a 750 m³ cargo hold.
- The Porpoise, Orca, Rorqual and Primae cannot harvest gas (no turret hardpoints, and harvesters only fit barges and exhumers). They are listed for their hold. The Hoarder can fit two scoops but has no bonus.
- Skill level sets both Gas Cloud Harvesting and the ship's own skill (Mining Frigate, Mining Destroyer, Mining Barge, Exhumers, Expedition Command Ships). Numbers are base hull: no implants, rigs or fleet boosts, so your real yield can be higher.
- Sell instantly is the best Jita 4-4 buy order. List is the lowest Jita 4-4 sell order, before broker fees and sales tax. ISK per hour uses the instant price and assumes you never stop to empty the hold.
- Some Cytoserocin clouds deal damage when harvested, and wormhole reservoirs are guarded by Sleepers that arrive after a delay. Check the site before you commit a fragile ship.
